Thanks Russ for the vote of confidence. Damn this first round of playoffs has me 2nd guessing more than any other week in the past 5 seasons! Jennings it is! 12/15/13 10:51
I got Jennings slated, but just worried that Marcel Reece comes in and steals some passing downs, especially when they fall behind to the Chiefs. Plus KC Chiefs run D aint bad. I trust Rainey even less against that SF D, but I got him on the bench so he's an option. Lastly, Bowe. PPR, so there's some attraction there. Raiders might keep it close for a little while there with his home crowd, keeping Bowe involved. I also have Charles so I don't care either way, but hmmmm.... What say you? 12/15/13 10:45
Had the same issue here between Cutler or Big Ben. Russ weighed in there as well. My opinion after everyone's answers was Big Ben. He's been on a tear in the last 6 games, he's at home with decent weather conditions. Cutler has more weapons against a weaker D, but he "seems" boom or bust. You gotta hope that 1) he doesn't tweak his groin/ankle and 2) he doesn't get replaced by McCown if he starts to falter (or throw his patented red zone pick. That's just me, but heck even I am on the fence. Only leaning Ben slightly because I have an "advantage" (according to FFstarters) of 21 points. I need a safe play. If you are an underdog, Cutler is your pick. 12/15/13 10:42
Man oh man. Cutler seems to have the higher ceiling, but may be on a short leash? Rothlisberger has been hot as of late and is playing at home in better conditions (I think it's snowing in Cleveland). Ok so here is the kicker. According to FFstarters I have an advantage of 21 points. Now considering that, isn't Rothlisberger the "safer" play here? Cutler seems boom or bust - and I can't afford bust. Rothlisberger may have only scored 1 TD in his last outing against Cincy, but that was at Cincy back when they had Geno Atkins rushing the passer and Leon Hall in coverage - both who were lost to injury. If Cutler tweaks his ankle, groin, or just yanked in favor of McCown if it starts to sputter - I'd just kick myself. Considering all this - I think I gotta go Rothlisberger unless anyone else has anything to add. Just seems like the safer play here and I'm not needing 40 points to win, I need them to get at or around what they are expected to get. Any more thoughts? BTW thanks everyone for commenting! 12/15/13 10:36

I do have to say though, the best thing I got out of FFS was the weekly Fantasy Alerts sent directly to my email. I had a few guys compliment me on my waiver wire pickups.
