Rothlisberger at home against that Cincy D or Cutler at the Browns dogpound?

FFStarters has Cutler at 27 for me while Rothlisberger is at 23. The thing is, for countless weeks FFStarters has notoriously underestimated Rothlisberger. He's hung high 20s week after week when he was expected to get 18-21.

Cutler scares me coming back on that ankle and I'm tempted to just keep riding the Big Ben train into the Championship Game. What say you? I'll give you a dollar if you pick right... just kidding, but hey I never get responses on these things so I gotta try.

Well you got a reply. I think the Cincy Pitt game will be low scoring but Ben will have an average game. Cutler is coming back from injury, but with McCowan's play, had time to completely heal. The Bear system and receivers are working, so I am slowly moving into the Cutler camp. Ben might be safer, but Cutler has the tools to have a much higher ceiling. I have to decide between Cutler and Tannehill and I am moving from Tannehill to rolling the dice with Cutler. Your option is closer with the choice between Big Ben and Cutler, but I do like Marshall and Jeffrey and have to trust Tresterman to make the right decision. Cutler gets the slight edge. Yesterday, I was leaning Ben.

I have the same dilemma. Just looked at Russ' news and notes and something he said bothers me - Cutler may be on a short leash. As to be true, with McCown doing so good. Got cutler pencilled in and last minute changes usually burn me... But this is a doozy. Ben has been coming up big, regretted benching him before. Coin toss?

I go with Cutler. Roethilisberger has been hot of late after slow start to season but I think Cutler has something to prove and wil do so with those great weapons at his disposal.

Man oh man. Cutler seems to have the higher ceiling, but may be on a short leash? Rothlisberger has been hot as of late and is playing at home in better conditions (I think it's snowing in Cleveland).

Ok so here is the kicker. According to FFstarters I have an advantage of 21 points. Now considering that, isn't Rothlisberger the "safer" play here? Cutler seems boom or bust - and I can't afford bust. Rothlisberger may have only scored 1 TD in his last outing against Cincy, but that was at Cincy back when they had Geno Atkins rushing the passer and Leon Hall in coverage - both who were lost to injury. If Cutler tweaks his ankle, groin, or just yanked in favor of McCown if it starts to sputter - I'd just kick myself.

Considering all this - I think I gotta go Rothlisberger unless anyone else has anything to add. Just seems like the safer play here and I'm not needing 40 points to win, I need them to get at or around what they are expected to get. Any more thoughts?

BTW thanks everyone for commenting!
