Just a few random thoughts about fantasy football help that don't directly involve the media and public opinion circus surrounding Michael Vick:

1) The Houston Texans STILL desperately need a WR opposite Andre Johnson. But they even more desperately need their OL to be better as Matt Schaub doesn't have David Carr's scrambling ability.

2) The Patriots will have a lot of fun pairing down the 14 or so WR's they're taking to camp. There are asmany as 8 legitimate NFL WR's on that roster. Some teams don't even have 4.

3) Best RB battle to watch will be the Packers. Between Vernand Morency and Brandon Jackson, there's a lot to like in the competition and a lot on the line for the fantasy football predictions of both players. The Bills with Lunch/Thomas and the Cowboys with Jones/Barber are close runner's up.

4) Chris Brown will emerge as the best RB in Tennessee. This despite the fact the team really doesn't want him to be. And because of that, his RB stats will suffer in 2007.

5) Joe Harrington will prove he can be a tolerable stop gap between now and the Falcons new QB of the future (sorry, couldn't totally avoid everything that may have a trail leading back to Vick).

To top it all off, I think I'm doing a podcast soon that will be up on the "Listen Up!" by the weekend. YIKES! What WILL I talk about?

First off, you can elaborate more on these observations a bit more in your podcast. Second, its going to be very interesting to see how things play out in Lions camp!

I'm interested in seeing the Steelers new defense called "The Quarter", they just announced it on the local news, but they are not allowed to show it, but it involves just 1 down D-lineman, sounds like the Steelers are going to be doing a lot more rushing the passer.

I am also interested in how Frank Gore will respond now that Norv Turner is in San Diego, after all Norv was in Oakland when Jordan had that great year, now look at them, I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to Gore.

Niners moved the QB Coach, who has been coaching A. Smith the past three years to OC and he's keeping allot of what Turner brought, plus some subtle wrinkles. Look for Gore to continue to carry the load with some M. Robinson spelling him from time to time. Gore will get his!

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
