1.01 – LeSean McCoy RB

1.02 – Jamaal Charles RB

1.03 – Adrian Peterson RB

1.04 – Calvin Johnson WR

1.05 – Eddie Lacy RB

1.06 – Matt Forte RB

1.07 – AJ Green WR

1.08 – Demariyus Thomas WR

1.09 – Julio Jones WR

1.10 – Jimmy Graham TE

1.11 – Marshawn Lynch RB

1.12 – Dez Byrant WR

Smitty’s Take: There weren’t very many surprises in round one, and their usually aren’t. Sure, a case can be made forPeyton Manning being round one worthy, but it’s not surprising to see him fall to 2.01. LeSean McCoy, Jamaal Charles and Adrian Peterson are spot on in my book, and I can’t argue a bit with 1.04-1.12 (aside from pushingManning into that 1.09-1.12 range, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea).

Nope that's pretty solid, if in a PPR redraft most QB's are not taken in the 1st but seeing the year Peyton had last year you could that argument in taking him in the in 11th or 12th spot Of the 1st.

I have done 6 mock PPR drafts, 12 team leagues so far this season.

Charles and AP have been the top picks while McCoy has been the third pick almost everytime. I think the Sproles aquisition has him slotted a little lower.

Megatron has been coming in at # 4 or # 5 with Forte usually going before him at # 4.

Manning has been coming in late first round or early second.

Dez has been coming in at # 6 or #7 every draft in the first round.

Nice work, James, all that info helps! Anyone you see as a mega steal in the mock above? I think Gio Bernard at 3.01 was a mega steal.

I see Gio going middle to late 2nd round so far.

I think T Williams going in the 9th to 10th rounds is a steal. He is primed for a big year.

One tip in PPR Leagues. If you can get Graham, J Thomas or Gronk in the first three rounds, pull the trigger. If you can't--- wait on TE.

In my best mock drafts this year where I could get one of those elite tight ends, I had my best lineups.

If you go:

RB- McCoy, Charles, AP- 1st round

TE Thomas, Graham, Gronk- 2nd round

Best receiver available 3rd round

Best RB or Receiver 4th round.

With this configuration, I have been doing well. If you do get Gronk, you will have to add TE insurance for him since we don't know if he will be playing opening day. I suggest getting H. Millier out of Pittsburgh who has a low ADP and should be a big weapon for Ben this season.

Andrew Hawkins going in the late 13th to 15th round is a great value pick. He might have a big year in Brownie land now that we can stick a fork in Gordon. I mean, someone will have to catch the ball other than Cameron. Hawkins is a great sleeper pick in PPR.

I've seen Eli Manning going in the 14th to 16th round. A Super Bowl Qb that everyone is afraid to draft playing against the softest pass defenses in the league in the NFC East.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
