I think a lot of owners are wary of Rivers lack of concentration in games. He seems to be really good, or stinks up the turf. It's not entirely his fault though. His offensive line can't pass protect. Thus, it might have an effect on Allen's game all season long.

I take Allen as a WR # 2 if I can get him there. But I am not sold on him as a WR # 1 just yet.

Good take James, and no one should take Allen as a WR1. He will be one, IMO, but folks have to draft against ADPs, and the ADP data has him as a WR2. That's why he is such a breakout.

As for Rivers, I think Rivers is way underrated this year. Will he be a top 5QB? No way I predict that kind of thing, but I think most are not taking into account that Green at the tight end position, and Allen at the WR1 spot, will bring Rivers back to the stat lines he had with Gates in the line up.

Allen is a WR1 thankfully trapped in a WR2 type draft slot :) Great for all who believe. Get ready for the Keenan Allen show, it starts in Sept!

@James_4852 I agree with that. I also think people are also forgetting Rivers not having a good running game behind him did not help either in keeping the defenses honest.

Having Allen as a WR2 or even WR3 if he's a hold over in dynasty would be great since he has the upside to be a WR1. I will not invest the WR1 price to get him though.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
