Keenan Allen and Christine Michael

or

Calvin Johnson?

... or, what about:

Keenan Allen and Christine Michael

or

Demaryius Thomas?

Let's assume all of the above is PPR, dynasty, and let's say you don't have a huge hole at your RB2 spot but an elite-playing Michael would eventually earn the gig on your roster.

I'm just curious who is seeing HUGE upside with both Allen and Michael, and who is more cautiously optimistic. Both sides have arguments, that's why we play the game.

If this is a keeper question then of course you keep Calvin.Especially since you don't have a need a rb.

I have never seen Megatron drop past the seventh pick in the first round of any PPR draft that I have been a part of.

Allen is talented, but he is not Megatron.

Now, things get dicey with Demaryius. Peyton Manning might retire after this season when his contract expires and the Broncos won't have a starting Qb, or at least not a playmaker like Manning.

DT is the best player out of the three. It's just too soon to make a call on the second question. If I was sure that Michael would be the starter next season then I would take him over DT if Manning retires.

But that is a big if.

Great takes, James. Yeah, the question is staged in Dynasty, meaning you keep everyone for as long as you want - forever if you want. So, even vs a 2-3 year keeper league, guys like Michael have 10x the value in a dynasty format than in a keeper or redraft. But, I tend to agree, Calvin outweighs Allen/Michael.

However, I myself am more on the fence with Allen/Michael over DT, because I see Manning playing 2 years max, 1 if they win it all (possible for sure).

Allen is a low-end WR1 this year if you ask me. Doing what he did as a rookie is a sign of things to come in my view, but I can totallly understand others being cautiously-optimistic... remember how good TB Mike Willams looked coming off his rookie season. He was probably a 2nd round pick that next year. Insane how far he dropped from the elite. I see Allen as the real deal, but that's me. It's a great topic, arguments to be made on both sides.

Keep bringing it, James!
