For me it's :

Charles- A mediocre offensive line means more passes for him.

McCoy - Gets a little demoted here because of Sproles, but still will get his. IF not for Sproles, I might take him at # 1.

AP- They will have to throw to him because the Viking WR corps is weak. AP has to be in the top # 5 of any scoring format anyway.

Forte- always a big PPR weapon.

Foster- If he stays healthy should dominate with short passing situations with weak armed Fitzpatrick throwing to him. If he stays healthy, he might dominate PPR once again.

Honorable mention:

E. Lacy- Pass catching is not his thing, but with a healthy receiving corps. in Green Bay, he will be wide open all day for safety valves...

Gio- The explosion from Cincinnati will be from Gio scoring all of the TD's from the air. He will be an early to middle second rounder in PPR drafts.

I tried to comment over on the blog but it won't let me. I guess the bugs need to be worked out.

James

James, you're a forum beast! Can't wait to get you on the migrated forums once they launch here on FFStarters. Our entire user base (those already following you, and those about to) are going to love your energy and insight!

I like that you still believe in Foster, as do I. The dude has a real shot at bouncing back and helping people win championships in 2014. Sure, there is risk that he was abused beyond repair, but something tells me the time off here and there last year, mixed with a relatively low overall mileage (despite the three back-to-back-to-back big-carry seasons, which is what had most alarmed heading into last year). I love his value this year, and even though you rank Foster super high, his ADP is easily in the 2nd round (according to most ADP data, especially if you average all the major ADP data lists together), which is great for us and all who like the guy this season.

Nice work, James.

NEWS: Arian Foster to catch a lot of passes in 2014?

According to csnhouston.com, Texans coach Bill O’Brien will use Arian Foster in the passing game much like he has used Kevin Faulk and Danny Woodhead in his previously-coached offenses.

SMITTY: With a shockingly-low 2nd-round ADP (according to most ADP data), there is a ton to like about Arian Foster heading into 2014. If he stays healthy, he could blast past 300 total touches (maybe even 330-340), and 50 of those could be receptions (if not more). There are few players outside the top 12-15 (ADP-wise) that have as high a ceiling as Foster, and that ceiling is top 5-10RB type value. For those that feel Foster has too much mileage on his tires, keep in mind that his career regular-season carry total is just 1,131, whereas Marshawn Lynch has 1,753 carries to his name, and Matt Forte has 1,551 carries to his name. Still feel that Foster has been overworked? Check out our 2014 projections for Foster (based on your league scoring) right here:

Smitty,

I have been looking at your forums. Seems like a lot of good people in them giving advice.

I am looking forward to the forum merge.

The more diverse opinions the better.

Yep, diverse is great, and the incoming forum is gonna make FFStarters that much better. There is nothing better than a community of people that are super active on the forums and commenting on articles.

How you liking the news feed, James? More content is coming, my friend!
