Yes I know it's early to be asking but curious people's thoughts.

In our 10 team league I can protect the following players. Doing so also impacts your draft position. For example, if 5 people in our league don't protect anyone their names go into a hat and they determine draft position 1 through 5. Then if 3 protect 1 player they determine 6 through 8 with those protecting two players then determining 9 and 10. As I look at our league 3 owners are likely to protect no one while the other 7 owners have interesting decisions to make. If I protect 2 players I'm pretty much guarantee myself to draft at the 10 position which I'm fine with.

Here are my options and the round I would be getting them in.

Ben Tate: 6th round

Jordan Cameron: TE Browns-9th round

Tate-Assuming his preseason goes okay seems like a no brainer as his ADP currently in 10 team non-PPR leagues seem to be the 4th round.

Cameron-Good value getting him in the 9th round. His ADP seems to be around the 6th or 7th round.

However, do I really want two Brown players? By protecting only Tate I then probably find myself being placed into the hat to draft from position 4 through10 or maybe 5 through 10 as opposed to 10.

What would you as of today. We have up until our draft day to decide.

For right now I protect Tate. The Qb situation is up in the air. Everyone expects Manziel to start, but Hoyer was playing great until his injury. The Browns plan to go run heavy and if Tate can stay healthy he will carry the load. But that is a big IF.

For right now I keep Tate and let Cameron go. He will be double teamed all year long since the Browns receivers are absymal without Gordon.

And we all know that Austin might play two to three games then have a hammy pull.

Given the recent article on Jordan Cameron posted here by Smitty should I keep him with a 9th round pick in a (10) team league/non PPR?
