Cam Newton will undergo surgery on his troublesome ankle on Wednesday. He is expected to miss up to 4 months. This is a situation to watch this summer since he has lost his starting receiving corp to free agency. If he can't make the 4 month therapy window, it will be difficult for him to get his timing down with brand new receivers.

Eric Decker signed a multi- million dollar deal with the Jets to be the WR # 1 on the team. The QB situation is in flux in New York and Decker is making WR # 1 money and he has always been a WR # 2 receiver. There will be no Peyton Manning throwing him the ball this year.

I look for Decker to be one and done, and likely be the victim of a salary cap cut the following season by the Jets.

I stay away from Decker unless you can get him as a WR # 3. Decker will he double-covered as well, further biting into his production.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
