I used to when there were so many great defensive teams out there. Or, at least I would consider it. The best defensive teams are now in the NFC West with Seattle and Sanfrancisco. Though the Frisco defense will not be as potent as it has been. The Rams and Cardinals will be much improved this year on defense as well.

But now the defensive teams are few and far between. If I wanted to draft a Qb that was playing Seattle and San Francisco in weeks 14 through 16 during the fanstasy playoffs, I might consider another choice.

But to be honest, schedule strength does not mean much anymore.

Rams for sure but the Cards maybe not since D. Washington is suspended for the year.

I'll look at it a bit during the draft if I am on the fence between a couple players or when I am ranking players. But pretty small factor. You just can't tell how good a team is going to be in terms of fantasy. Only after a 5-6 games during the season does fantasy points against start coming into play.

to answer your question right off the bat No! When I draft my Starters i go by talent and situation in play time alone nothing else though it's when I start drafting for my backup's is when I start looking at byes so I don't put myself in a bad spot.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
