Planned on starting Vereen at Flex this week with Dez on bye. The Pats are playing their usual games and have not activated him as yet and he plays Monday. My best option, other than Vereen, is Jones who plays at 1 Sunday.

Do I wait on Vereen and gamble that he is activated and plays or start Jones and not worry about the Pats games?

I'd start Jones as the Bengals play the Browns. The Browns best CB Haden will be on Green so Jones could have a nice game.

I can't count on a player who hasn't played for several weeks and who could be on a play count in Vereen. Plus the Patriots aren't playing a cream puff defense in the Panthers.

Rotoworld reports the Pat's expect to activate Vereen for monday, but thats not exactly a guaruntee and who knows how much he will be used in Belichicks backfield. There is also the issue of wind and rain in cincy today. I would go with Marvin Jones though. Just such a risk waiting on vereen til monday when he could be on a snap count or a late scratch and is facing a solid Panthers Defensive front. Goodluck O1P.

While Vreen is expected to play Monday night, he might be limited quite a bit in his first game action since week 1. I like Jones and despite weather concerns would give Marvin Jones the nod here.

On any given Sunday any fantasy team can beat another, only to still lose Monday night.
