Currently starting CAR@SF. TA shows DEN not showing as a potential starter in future.

Could try for TB vs MIA, IND vs STL, or BUF @ PIT (or WAS @MIN, MIN vs WAS, HOU @ARI,...) from waivers tonight. Pick up any as a spot starter over CAR for week 10 (and/or future depth) and drop DEN? And with previous post, QB or DEF is a higher waiver priority? Thanks!!

*Sigh* no and lost by about 7pts. I'd asked on a final roster check about TB...a recommendation pushed me over the edge last minute to TB instead. I should know by now to go with what I feel instead of overthinking it!

I most likely would've been ok with the fewer points except Locker went out with a -1pt and Vinatieri scored 0. Or if I'd started either of Dalton/Ryan at QB with TB, I'd have won.

Ack. I was just fighting back into the playoffs. Looks like my season is over, though will keep fighting and hope!

Cajun, I know how you feel. I am 3rd in the league in points and 5-5, but in 5th place, so still have playoff possibilities. For the last 6 weeks, each of my opponents has outscored projections by the largest amount in the league. I am hoping that the odds will have be outperfroming during the playoffs, since my teams have under performed at the same time that my opponents are overperforming.

I would put Ryan or Dalton in the lineup based on match up and forget the other qb's. You may leave some points on the board occassionally, but will be more consistent.

Thanks and that's what I'm seeing, though more so due to starters not getting points due to injuries. Been tough - lost my first 5 games (two by a total of 1.5 pts!), came bac and have won 5 of 6. Very slim odds to make it but not going down without a fight!

Your thought makes good sense...chasing an inconsistent/relatively untested QB likely will hurt more than help. Plus I need to be wiser and stick more with my consistent players rather than chasing a matchup...

Good luck & thanks O1P (well, to both of us, lol)!

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
