My first 2 qb draft and asked a couple questions about ideas and format. I think I did well, but espn gave me a terrible score. Starting is qb,qb,rb,rb,wr,wr,wr/rb,k,d. 6 pnt td for all, non ppr.I was picking first, of ten teams

qb, rodgers (1) ,wilson (5), Weeden (13)

rb, SJackson (2), L McCoy (3), MJD (4), ivory (9), bradshaw (11), m bush (16)

wr nelson (6), steve smith car 7, Nicks8, austin (10)

te cook(12), sudfeld(17)

d giants 15

kicker bullock 14

Giants were teir 1 d, I dont have to much trust in them and may go with TB d vs the jets. Ideas or thought?

Don't even look at those score cards. They are based on best available players and are not accurate in schemes.

I think you are fine but you are short on WR's by one. You did really good in drafting almost all starting RB's. I would get rid of Bush and get another WR though for depth.

Don't worry about the Giants Defense. They still have a solid line and are playing in a weak division.

I am spreading the word on Tolbert. Steve Smith said today that they will use Tolbert more in the offense this year. Remember that in case you get a rb injury and need one down the road.

Like your QB's to!

Good Luck!

I think you drafted your QB2, too early. You could have helped yourself a bit more by looking RB or WR and waiting anotehr 2-3 rounds to grab a lower tiered QB. Since you had the first pick, I have also given up drafting Rodgers and gone RB. Sure you miss out on the big guns, Rodgers, Breese and Brady, but there are many good QBs, especially in a 2 QB league available

Interested how it would out, if I would have went without a qb to rn 2 and switched my wilson for a wr draft would look like this.

Ap, Romo, S jackson, Mjd, roddy white/welker.

I got rodgers, s jackson, Mccoy, Mjd, wilson.

the qb left at round 6 are, Bradford, dalton, cutler, freeman, bigben, palmer.

Would you have waited to 6/7 or 8/9.

I do this for future reading. I went high qb because of the 6 point td for all.

Buff, we have played 2 QBs for 30 years now and over the years I have changed my philosophy over the years. The last few years QBs have really dominated the first 2 rounds, but there have been more good RBs available. This year with so few RBs, the QBs got pushed to the late second (3 QBs) and the start of the 3rd round.

Look down your cheat sheet at the scoring of QBs after say, the top 5 and they are not separated by much. This year I wanted to make sure I was set at RB before I drafted a QB. My first QB came in Round 6, with RG3. Not bad for a starter, huh? I was also able to round out 3 starting RBs, Rice, S Jax and Monte Ball. We will see how they fare. I did have a chance to draft Forte over Jackson in the 2nd, but went with Jackson and the high powered offense of ATL.

I drafted using Russ's ebook through the first 8 rounds. Round 9 I picked up my second starting QB, Jay Cutler. Had a great last year in DEN, but hasn't been all that impressive in CHI, but a new offense, a quicker release, he could have a good year. I backed that up with Joe Flacco in Round 10.

During these rounds many owners were looking for RBs. I felt good I 4 RBs (with Ingram in the 8th) at this point and there was still outstanding depth at WR. So I secured my QBs for the season.

We play 4 pts/TDP not 6 but it doesn't make much difference I will continue to draft RBs early and hold off on a starting QB since talent and quality of RB really drops off after tier 2.
