Ive been a starter member for several seasons now and I dont understand why the linup analyzer has a 10 player cap for a given position. I am in 2 deep dynasty leagues and frequently have 12 or more RBs. I have emailed about this several times but have not heard back about anything.

I apologize for not getting back to you since the email I sent you on October 4th, 2012 regarding the 10 player per position limitations where I stated I would check with the developers. I can't find an email reply from them about it so I will check again. Being that it was in the middle of the season, I probably forgot about it with so many things going on.

Do you really need to put an 11th or 12th RB on your roster though? How many guys start at each position each week in this league? I've played in league with 30 round drafts where I've had 10 RB's, but only 3 starters. Pretty much after RB6 the rest were nothing more than specualtive fliers on guys that held no value at all unless an injury catapulted them to it.

Hey Russ,

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. Last year I sent a follow up email about a month afterwards but never heard back after that. I understand mid season you’re life is probably busy as can be so no worries.

My main reasoning in the request is that I play in two deep dynasty leagues, and I have found using the trade analyzer and lineup analyzer to be a solid tool in managing my most tertiary players that I’m sitting on while dancing the waiver wire. Having to drop and add players over and over to try to use the tools has caused me to “lose” players. It just seems to me like the 10 cap is an arbitrary value and would be easily changed from a developers stand point. I could be completely wrong about this as I don’t know how your algorithm is working. I was simply following up.

Thanks again,

Cheers

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
