I am seeing the Running backs dominate the first round again in the 2013 mock drafts as the Top QB and WR philosphy has apparently faded with yet even more QB's tossing 4,000 plus yards. The QB and WR production will be there so with a thin pool of RB's that get enough touches to make a difference we're going to have to jump quick on the position.

First Pick; Do you really want this draft slot? Historically I perfer the 12 and 13 spot In a snake style redraft league however this year I'm looking at the 24th and 25th slot, pick ending the second and starting the third has some nice options, having three picks in the top 25 is very intriguing with the perceived talent that exsist in those slots.

Draft Slots I like to avoid 5-10

So what do you do with the first pick?

Adrian Peterson, regardless of situation has done nothing but produce and now the cover of Madden? COME ON MAN!

Arian Foster; One that has produced championships for many of his fantasy owners . A.p defies the Odds, Can Foster? I'll bite the bullet here and pass, he can not continue, can he? One RB I really like this year is ranked in the 5-8 slots and in a PPR There are two I really like and if awarded the first pick I will jump out ranks to secure the one I feel I can get the most out of to be just fine and will pair well with #24 and #25.

Three months is a long time, but there is no time like the present to start preparing.

Now that Bradshaw has signed with INDY, Ballard's production is now one big question mark.

That tightens the noose on running backs to draft.

With the first pick I would take Adrian Peterson without hesitation.

We pull playing cards for our draft order based on the reverse order of how we finished the prior season. I lucked out last year, pulled the ace, which meant I could take ANY spot in the draft I wanted to. By default the ace is the first pick. I opted out of it and took the #4 pick in hopes of implementing my draft strategy, but it went to bleep before the end of the first round.

This year if I get the ace, I hold it and take the #1 pick. I think it's much easier to build a team around a top back than it is to build around a top QB. I do agree with Russ I snatch up ADP with the #1 pick.
