New to this league this year. Was told it was ppr but ended up being standard. 1 pt/10 yards for all. this is my team. I am all but out of it this year and i am looking toward next year. Would you trade any of this team(specifically wr) for MJD. I thinking i could get him cheap right now. This is my team. We keep three.

staffort

r bush

mcfadden

sjax

bradshaw

calvin johnson

v jax

andre johnson

v davis.

Any Ideas anf reasons would be great.

If you could get MJD for Andre Johnson I'd consider that. AJ is approaching the end of his time as an elite WR (as it is, right now he's not even in the near elite category anymore).

Clearly Calvin Johnson and McFadden are you top guys, you could make an arguement for Stafford as well.

I would say pick your top choices outside of those two and start making offers with the best of the rest of your team. Can you trade for future draft picks in your league? If so try to stock up on those as well. Typically RBs are tough to get in keeper leagues but so are the tops QBs. Maybe try to go after Luck if he is someones #2 QB this year, you could get Luck and set them up to win this year. Even if you gave up Stafford plus something else to get Luck I like that deal.

You have tons to trade. A johnson, V Jack, S Jax, Bradshaw, bush, Davis. So pair up Stafford, V jackson, and S Jackson for Luck and offer up McFadden, A Johnson, Bradshaw for R Rice, McCoy, or T Richardson.

MJD is a nice option as well, but sadly even at 27 he likely only has 3 Great years left.

If you are serious that you dont care about this year you should be able to stock up with a good top 3 and dump everything else. That would likely also move you up the draft order as well... good luck, I have been there. Two years ago I was litterally out after 6 weeks, the next year I had two first round picks, two second, three third, and two forth. If you give up early enough it can pan out.

Good stuff. What are your thoughts on Charles or Martin? I remember Graham from TB being awesome a couple years ago and then he fell apart. If i could package a great deal to get Martin would you go for him. I think my best options are MJD, Martin, or Charles. Thanks. Good stuff so far.

I like Martin best from all those RB's, especially in a keeper league. Kid has a bright future on a team that is developing a strong offense both rushing and passing. Megatron and Stafford are the only two untouchables to get Martin.

Okay, Trade deadline has passed. I traded andre Johnson and Steven Jackson for MJD and their 2nd round pick (I was only going to go for their third but they offered 2nd so I took it).

Then I traded my 3rd round pick for Doug Martin. (not sure how i pulled that off. I think they wanted to keep luck, charles and not sure who else. I am please and excited. Thanks for your insights.

I am fairly sure they might have felt sorry for me. I seriously only have one win so far. Horrible. But most of my guys have been injured early and often.
