I loved my 12th pick last year but am going all over the place this year. I think I'm slowly settling on taking 2 RBs to start..which I've not done in a long time.

Right now I'm thinking I take to of DMC, Forte, Charles, AP. And probably prefer them in that order. I'm also considering throwing Murray in there, but being relatively fresh he has me concerned. Likely the top 4 or 5 QBs will be gone by my pick and Calvin for sure. I'm definitely open to WRs first, but just don't like any of the RBs in the 3rd-4th round range and while I like some 5th rounders and up...I don't want them as my #1 RBs!

I'd definitely be setting myself up for disappointment with injury concerns, but if I grabbed DMC/Charles and they both managed to stay healthy I'd be pretty tough to beat!

I have the same challenge in one of my drafts this year. I was thinking Stafford if he fell to me, now I might consider one RB/one WR, but two RB's - man grab AJ even.

I think it's RB/QB. There is a good chance you will still have a shot at a top WR coming back to you. I don't like settling for a lower tiered RB if there is a higher tiered player I can use as a starter on the wrap around. This year our #10 pick went QB/RB and came back with Nelson in the third as his #1 WR. At that time AJ was still on the board, as was Jennings, Cruz and Welker.

Cody, I'm sorry but I just think you're charmed! Heck last yr. your first 4 picks were 3 WR's and a TE and you still outscored everyone by 100pts. Just pick someone that's out for the season and build on that!

But for anyone else asking if for some reason a QB like Newton or Stafford is still there grab him and a RB. If not 2 RB's, there is an abundance of secondary and unknown WR talent available this yr.

Doesn't it depend on who's been taken? I mean, how can you go into the draft saying you'll take 2 RB's? If Brady is still there, you'd take him, right? I don't know if Newton is worth it at that spot- to me, it's doubtful he'll repeat last years performance or even come close for that matter. Also, I would stay away from ACL guys- particularly AP since he tore his at the end of the year. You saw the stat on top running backs coming back after torn ACL's right? The odds are not good. And to me, first/second round picks should be safe. So if Forte or DMC are gone, who's next? I would prefer D Murray over AP or Charles.

QB: Romo, Cutler
RB: R Rice, D Murray, R Bush, W Mcgahee, F Jones
WR: Julio Jones, AJ Green, D Bryant, P Harvin, Ma Floyd

Of course I'd take Brady if he fell, but this is my 4th year in this league with the same guys and I know that QBs go fast. Rodgers, Brady, Brees and probably Stafford will all go in the first.

I don't think I'm going to trust AP, but Charles will be 1 full year removed from his ACL injury early in the season and that's generally the safe zone. I'm fairly certain that the 11th pick will be Forte too, cuz that owner is a huge bears fan. It's gonna be a tough call between Charles and Murray for me. And pairing either with DMC will leave me with a lot of injury risk!

Craig I always go in with a strategy I want to execute, but remain flexible. Yes my strategy along with everyone elses will change depending on who is left in the player pool. I won't sit there at a draft and force a strategy to work because it's how I have to draft. It will be adjusted or even thrown out if my plans won't work. At that point I will adjust and move to another strategy that fits with the players remaining.

I do agree with the injured guys I shyed away from them all this year and didn't consider players like DMC or Vick who get injured often. I would much rather have a player who has a history of playing all season long, not 9 games.
