Patriots gave up pretty quick on him. Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen, and Danny Woodhead look locked in as the top 3. I think Ridley is a prime sleeper this year.

I heard about this this morning, not really the Pats style to release an older veteran, can't believe he didn't even get a chance in training camp, wonder if it wasn't something he said or did that may have rubbed the Patriots the wrong way.

Late word is that he just quit on his conditioning drill. That's why they released him.

Addai may have decided that neck injury he suffered last year was too much risk for him to put himself out like that any more. Or he could have just been scared. Probably won't play another down in the NFL. Good news though for Ridley and Vereen's potential fantasy value! One less guy to worry about being deferred to because he was the veteran

On any given Sunday any fantasy team can beat another, only to still lose Monday night.
