Larry Fitzgerald/WR/ARZ recentlly told ESPN’s “SportsCenter” that Calvin Johnson/WR/DET should be taken ahead of him in most fantasy drafts. His reasoning was that Detroit's QB situation is better than Arizona. I agree with his statement, but if I didn't get Calvin Johnson, there is nothing wrong with Larry Fitzgerald as a no. 1 WR on my team.

Why? Larry, just shut up and play football. Why do I as a viewer and fantasy football owner care what you think about your position in respect to that of Calvin Johnson's? I don't. You don't play the game for fantasy reason, you play it to win games, let's do that and the rotoheads will worry about where you end up on fantasy draft day.

While Larry is still a top tier WR, his situation is not too friendly in the desert, but he is a big play WR with good numbers over his career.

Well TBH here is comes...the QB situation in AZ is...

A DUMPSTER FIRE!

Fitz will put up numbers but they won't be consistent I'd have him as a muber one REC as well but each and every week I'd wonder which Larry I'm gonna get...

I saw that and was actually very impressed with Larry's candor. Larry is a top flight fantasy WR despite the QB problems, and I really think that both Kolb and Skelton are getting better so no matter who is throwing it, Fitz will have great numbers

HA! Michael, that was funny! But you are correct sir. I wonder how many games they will give Kolb before he is pulled? This system does not fit his style.
Skelton shows promise but is at least a year away.

Are players allowed to play FF? I agree with Michael what good is a WR that pads his #'s with 4 or 5 great games if you were going to win these games anyway! It has to be someone that will help you win everyweek.

I agree Michael, it will be hit and miss all year long from Larry. While his big names might outshadow his down games, I would much rather pull for consistency, something I don't think the dumpster fire will get at QB this season in the desert. I wish they could get him the ball consistently and while his season totals will probably be good, where would he be IF he had a real QB?

Glenn, the players are allowed to play. I know MJD does for a fact because he has mentioned it in interviews.

They are not allowed to play if money is involved.
