Great to see Russ put out his top 10 RBs today following the WRs and TEs recently. The biggest question marks, who will end the season as a top 10 RB? I think this year, just looking at the crop of potential top 10 RBs there are many more question marks than sure things. Okay, so there is never a sure thing in fantasy football.

I do like his top 3 RBs, Foster, Rice and McCoy. Foster is top of the crop and while he will probably do some platooning with Tate, he will be the main in HOU. Rice had a solid 2011-2012 and could potentially build on last year. McCoy seemed to do it all, then again as Russ eluded too, Vick's rushing numbers were down, but McCoy's were up. Maybe that represents a maturing of Vick as a pocket passer.

My problem #4, Ryan Mathews. While I have officialy disowned San Diego as "my team" I am not sold on this kid as a starter or to repeat his performance of last year. Least of as the #4 RB overall. I would not feel right drafting this unproven, sometimes injured and not fully committed RB as my lead rusher for a fantasy team. I would much rather draft a CJ, DMC or MJD in no particular order over Mathews. Might even consider Murray over Mathews!

I think he still needs to prove himself as a more consistent player and put into a good preseason to lose the moniker he picked up last year, as I don't believe he was ready to play, based on his early season performance. Give him the ball 20+ times and chances are high he breaks the century mark. Yet less than 20 carries and his numbers were terrible...inconsistent.

I also think that the lose of Tolbert will hurt San Diego's rushing game overall. They have no proven backup and most likely won't run a 2 RB set. I do think Mathews will shoulder the load, over the other RBs in the mix, but I think he and the Chargers have a lot of work to do in order to get him the numbers to put him as a #4.

I do agree with many of the remaining players on the list, not much of a fan of Reggie Bush either in MIA. He, much like Mathews doesn't come across to me at least as a #1 RB that you build a fantasy team around. I could be wrong.

I do know in our league, unless we change the runs owners are going to build their team around the 2 QBs system we play and would not be surprised if many WRs were more of a "sure thing" this upcoming season than RBs will be in the early rounds.

I love to see the lists as that mean FF is right around the corner.

I was surprised that with McFadden's inability to play all (16) games and Fred Jackson potential for a time share of sorts with Spiller that Lynch wouldn't have been the safer player to place in the top (10).  However, I must say I'm not buying into Lynchs contract year performance and won't be looking to take him where I expect him to be going in a (10) team league.....early to middle of the second round.

I'm really excited to see during the preseason how the following RB's do since right now I can't remember a year when the RB position seemed to lack a lot of depth and therefore has me looking to go RB, RB in the (10) team league I play in. Heck the WR depth is crazy deep in 2012 with quality WR's that can be had in rounds (6-8) and QB's as well.

RB's that I hope to have a clearer picture on come my draft day with the help of the preseason:

AP
Jamaal Charles
Doug Martin
David Wilson-back up to Bradshaw in NY
Issac Redman

I think that McFadden is a lineup killer if he is your # 1 RB. He is on my "Do Not Draft List" until he can prove that he can play a whole season. He is the new Brian Westbrook of the decade but the only difference is that Westbrook played through much of his injuries but McFadden just can't.

Mathews is overvalued this year. With a very questionalble offensive line in front of him and his injury issues, I would look elsewhere on draft day. For me, He will not be in my top # 5 for RB's.
