But I figured since I usually get it wrong anyway, I’d be a little early this season. To recap 2009, I only nailed 4 of 6 playoff teams from each conference and totally whiffed on my Super Bowl prediction of Steelers vs. Packers. We’ll see if 2010 is any kinder. AFC East New England 10-6 NY Jets 10-6 Miami 9-7 Buffalo 4-12 AFC North Baltimore 12-4 Pittsburgh 10-6 Cincinnati 8-8 Cleveland 4-12 AFC South Indianapolis 11-5 Houston 10-6 Tennessee 7-9 Jacksonville 6-10 AFC West San Diego 10-6 Oakland 7-9 Kansas City 6-10 Denver 5-11 NFC East Philadelphia 10-6 Dallas 10-6 NY Giants 9-7 Washington 7-9 NFC North Green Bay 11-5 Minnesota 10-6 Chicago 7-9 Detroit 6-10 NFC South Atlanta 10-6 New Orleans 10-6 Carolina 6-10 Tampa Bay 5-11 NFC West Arizona 9-7 San Francisco 8-8 Seattle 5-11 St. Louis 4-12 AFC PLAYOFF TEAMS: New England, Baltimore, Indianapolis, San Diego, Pittsburgh, NY Jets NFC PLAYOFF TEAMS: Philadelphia, Green Bay, Atlanta, Arizona, Dallas, New Orleans AFC Champion: Indianapolis NFC Champion: Green Bay Super Bowl Champion: Indianapolis There we go. My 2010 NFL season predictions are on the books. Of course, I’m sure I’ll look back at this in a couple of weeks and wonder what the heck I was thinking. And I’m also sure I’ll be wrong on several of these. Just like I’m sure fans of specific teams (like the 49ers) are going to take umbrage with this. Agree or disagree, post your predictions, too. ---- On any given Sunday any fantasy team can beat another, only to still lose Monday night.

Smith has to prove himself by winning some games on his shoulders. Until the Cards get beat you are spot on with the NFC west. I like Green Bay and Dallas this year, with the Cowboys winning it all. AFC: Baltimore or San Diego. ---- Winning isn't everything- its the only thing!

Not sure how the Patriots are going to finish ahead of the Jets or Dolphins with no defense. Could this be the year the Texans edge out the Colts? Think you're being kind to my Steelers, unfortunately, I think they finish 3rd again. Super Bowl prediction? Jets 27 Vikings 24 ---- Draft: 3QB's 4RB's 5WR's 3TE's 2K 4DL 5LB 4DB. Start: 1QB 2RB's 2WR's 1TE 1K 2DL 2LB 2DB. PPR League: 1PPR, 1 pt 10 yds rush/receive, 1pt 10yds pass, 6 pts TD

I'm not convinced the Jets are as good as the hype they're getting. Something about that team doesn't feel right to me. Maybe Rex reminds too much of his father and how Buddy seemed to get his teams together but sooner or later started to cause division within the offensive and defensive units. I like the Dolphins and if I were to go with a darkhorse this year in the AFC, it would be them. I also think the Bengals are being overhyped. Let's see how Batman and Robin (TO and Chad) respond if the team is losing games and neither is being as dominant as they think they should be. Houston could surprise. Sooner or later Indy has to fall, but Peyton Manning in a contract year is someone I'll bet on to make sure the Colts are winning. Keep the responses coming! I like what I have seen and heard about how they have gone about improving over last year and another year with TG at TE under their belt. ---- Winning isn't everything- its the only thing!

He is a big part of their offense and with him healthy, I see them being better this year. They also have an improving defense. I'm not down on New Orleans, but expecting them to score so many defensive and special teams TD's this season like they did last year is unrealistic. Besides, it's just my prediction and fully open to debate.
