I wouldn't give up Rodgers, he's playing in a weak division with only Minnesota that might be competitive, that is only if Favre comes back. Rodgers may be the top QB in Fantasy football this year.

You're really not breaking even by trading for Romo who may be on the border of being a top 10 QB and Henne who is just starting his first full season as a starter. With other teams able to gameplan for him, he's a gamble.

The strength of schedule for both QB's for this year is really nice, Rodgers has better schedule for playoffs though...
I also think that Romo could finish year in top 3 this year with all the weapons and it would give me a top TE like a Gates for the next 6-8 years...

Travis, didn't see Gates in the trade, but still wouldn't do it (just my opinion) in a keeper league Gates may have 2-4 years left of production, he's getting older and has been over used early in his career. Granted, Gates should have a great year this year especially with VJAX wanting a new deal or he's leaving, the Chargers really have no quality WR's so Gates will draw a lot of coverage also.

Travis, confused by your responses. Do you have Gates or not? What does "NO Finley" mean?

I would make the trade just to get Finley. Without that you have  Daniels, who is coming off of his second ACL tear and Olsen, who's production will take a nose dive in Chicago. No TE on a Mike Martz team has caught over 40 passes in one season.
It would be hard to give up Rodgers, but to get a potential top three TE to make up the difference would be just too attractive for me to give up. Plus, Romo is primed to have a big year. His ADP if you talk about QB tiering places him right behind either Brady or Manning, depending how you look at it. The trade gives you balance of power in your lineup.
I would not worry about the playoff schedules. They are very close. Dallas plays 2 out of 3 games at home. Washington will be their only tough matchup. They own Philly in the passing department, a big weakness in the Eagles. They beat them three times last year.

Tough call. Rodgers is an elite fantasy QB and while getting Finley would be great, and Romo along with Henne gives you solid QB's, I just don't know about thise. There's no guarantee Ronnie Breown's foot will hold up in 2010 and that means Ricky (in a contract year) could end up being a big surprise again. Daniels is iffy coming off his injury, but is the acquisition of Finley that big for your team?

I kind of doubt it myself. To me, you need another great WR and a TE.

On any given Sunday any fantasy team can beat another, only to still lose Monday night.
