Bye Weeks: Baltimore, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Houston

Quarterbacks

*-As expected, the Titans have officially ruled Jake Locker OUT for week 8. It's believed to be about 50/50 as to whether Locker will be back in week 9. Matt Hasselbeck will start again in his place.

*-Blaine Gabbert practiced today and is expected to start for Jacksonville this week despite having a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder. You know that Chad Henne has to be bad when you're pushing Gabbert to start injured.

*-Andrew Luck practiced in full today despite being listed on the practice report injury list as having a knee issue. Luck will be fine for week 8.

Running Backs

*-Adrian Peterson is officially listed as Probable for tomorrow night's game. AP has been taking it easy in practices this week because of a sore ankle, but he'll be fine for Thursday night.

*-Pittsburgh was without all 3 of its top RB's in practice today. Both Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) and Isaac Redman (ankle) were held out because of their respective injuries. Both players are very questionable to play week 8. Jonathan Dwyer missed practice for personal reasons and is expected back tomorrow. Dwyer could be in line to start again this week if neither Mendenhall nor Redman can get thru practices by Friday.

*-Trent Richardson put in a limited practice today and the latest word is that neither he, nor the Browns are going to give him any extra time off to heal up his injured ribs. While you always like to see a player be tough, there is a line between being tough, and being foolish. Richardson clearly was hindered by the injury week 7 and after discussing shutting him down for a couple of weeks yesterday, today the word is no resting him. Time will tell if this was a smart move or not. But for now, it looks like you can pencil in Richardson as a high risk fantasy play this week as a RB2. Montario Hardesty was limited in practice today as well because of a minor knee issue, but it's believed the Browns are just not overworking Hardesty in case he has to start for them this week.

*-Ahmad Bradshaw was held out of practice today. Expect this to be the norm going forward with Bradshaw. He'll likely sit out Wednesday practices and then get in limited practices Thursday or Friday as he rests his foot injury during the week. This has happened before with Bradshaw and his annual foot ailments and I don't see why this season should be any different. He'll likely play this week but could be sharing time with Andre Brown.

*-Darren McFadden practiced in full today despite having a minor shoulder injury. The shoulder isn't being used as an excuse for his struggles, but if he can't get something better going this week against a Chiefs run defense that allows 4.7 yards per rush attempt to their opponents, he will lose a lot of fantasy faith.

*-The Colts aren't sure if they'll have Donald Brown back this week or not. Brown has been out since having arthroscopic surgery on his knee a few weeks back. It's believed they'll test it in practice tomorrow and see how it is on Friday. At best I'd say Brown is going to be listed as Questionable and considered game time decision for week 8. Even if active, he'll likely split time with Vick Ballard.

*-Brandon Bolden missed practice again today for New England because of his knee injury. It's looking doubtful that he'll play this week. Shane Vereen is expected to be the top backup to Stevan Ridley again this week. Another solid performance by Vereen could catapult him past Bolden even when Bolden gets healthy.

*-Bilal Powell was unable to practice today and he appears unlikely to play this week for the Jets because of his shoulder injury. Teammate Joe McKnight also missed practice because of the ankle injury he played thru week 7. It's likely McKnight does very little in practices again this week but end up being active for week 8.

Wide Receivers

*-Vincent Jackson is Probable for Thursday night's game. Jackson has a minor calf injury but is good to go.

*-Kenny Britt popped back up on the practice report injury listings today with a knee issue. Britt practiced in full but any time he shows up on these reports it's worth noting so you know to be paying attention.

*-Greg Jennings met with specialists about his slow healing groin injury. No official word has been released about how it went, but it's not considered a good bet that Jennings will be out until at least week 11. James Jones will continue starting in his place.

*-Jordy Nelson was listed on the injury listings today as having been limited because of a minor hamstring issue. Currently he's expected to be just fine for week 8.

*-Danny Amendola put in a very limited practice today for the Rams. He's not close to suiting up though and is still a few weeks away from returning from his collarbone injury.

*-Brandon Lloyd, Wes Welker, and Julian Edelman of New England were all limited in practice today. None of the injuries are serious, each played in week 7, and each is fully expected to play in week 8. I wish the NFL could do something about Bill Belichick and his constant abuse of the practice report injury listings. For fantasy purposes here's what you need to know: Welker is a ppr-stud, Lloyd could be a stud if he gets a hold of the Chargers stick'um tube, and Edelman is non-fantasy worthy.

*-The Seahawks will be without Doug Baldwin for a few weeks because of a high ankle sprain. This shouldn't impact your fantasy decisions.

*-And just to be thorough, the Lions signed Brian Robiskie for depth purposes today at WR. He has no fantasy upside.

Tight Ends

*-Keeping in the spirit of how they list their WR's, New England duo of Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez were both limited in practice today. Both will likely be limited each day this week and both will very likely start and be first rate fantasy TE's week 8.

*-Jimmy Graham was able to practice in limited fashion today and while this is a good sign for his week 8 availability, he still isn't a sure thing to suit up. If he can get thru limited practices tomorrow and Friday, I'd feel a lot better about trusting him in fantasy lineups.

*-John Carlson has been ruled OUT for tomorrow night's game for the Vikings because of a concussion.
