2011 IDP Rankings - Defensive Backs

Defensive Backs:

1) TJ Ward Cleveland: Had an awesome year last year, and with a poor offense look for the Cleveland D to be on the field quite a bit this year.

2) Terrell Thomas NY Giants: 85 tackles in 2009 and over 100 last year, be interesting to see what he does this year.

3) Donte Whitner San Francisco: If he were back in Buffalo he may well have been #1 on my board, many look down on him because injuries and lack of consistency have been a trademark, but I think he's finally figured it out, and the 9'ers have a solid player at Safety!

4) Michael Griffin Tennessee

5) Alterraun Verner Tennessee: With a name like that, sounds like he should be in Star Wars or something. But in his second year he joins a solid secondary

6) Dawan Landry Jacksonville: New arrival from Baltimore, should fit in nice.

7) Laron Landry Washington: Many have him rated #1, a steal if he lasts this long.

8) Bernard Pollard Baltimore: Coming over from the Texans. At 26 years old and going to his 3rd team in 4 years makes me wonder about how his teammates perceive him.

9) Roman Harper New Orleans

10) Kerry Rhodes Arizona

11) Deangelo Hall Washington

12) Tyvon Branch Oakland: Had him ranked #1 last year, drafted him, he disappointed early, most of his points were made up late in games.

13) Craig Dahl St. Louis

14) Charles Woodson Green Bay

15) Brent Grimes Atlanta

16) Cortland Finnegan Tennessee

17) Chris Hope Tennessee

18) Michael Huff Oakland

19) Charles Tillman Chicago

20) Patrick Chung New England

21) Eric Berry Kansas City: Should be ranked higher.

22) Quintin Mikell St. Louis

23) Yeremiah Bell Miami: Former top 5 pick has slipped down the board to average, still worth the pick though.

24) Greg Toler Arizona

25) Antoine Bethea Indianapolis: Bob Sanders is gone, he's the man now.

26) Eric Weddle San Diego

27) Richard Marshall Arizona: Came over from Carolina

28) Glover Quin:  Had a 3 INT game against the Titans!!! But didn't have another the rest of the season. Still his tackle numbers are solid.

29) Terrence Newman Dallas

30) Adrian Wilson Arizona

31) Devin McCourty New England: My Sleeper pick for D-backs.

32) Charles Godfrey Carolina

33) Nate Clements Cincinnati: With a poor offense thanks to the departure of Carson Palmer, Chad Ochocinco and others, look for Clements to be a busy man... Should have ranked him higher.

34) Antoine Winfield Minnesota: Still solid.

35) Bryant McFadden Pittsburgh: Will make a lot of tackles as a corner as teams will stay away from Ike Taylor and Troy Polamalu

36) Abram Elam Dallas

37) Troy Polamalu Pittsburgh: Has been injured 3 of the past 4 seasons and is not fully healed from the Achilles injury last year. I don't see Troy playing a full season again this year.

38) Ronde Barber Tampa Bay

39) Dashon Goldson San Francisco

40) OJ Atogwe Washington

41) Tanard Jackson Tampa Bay

42) Gerald Sensabaugh Dallas

43) Earl Thomas Seattle

44) Louis Delmas Detroit

45) Bradley Fletcher St. Louis

46) Nick Collins Green Bay

47) William Moore Atlanta

48) Lawyer Milloy Seattle

49) Antoine Cason San Diego

50) Drayton Florence Buffalo

Just like with the defensive linemen and the linebackers, I'm sure many of you are asking... "Where is so and so, and why don't you have what's his name on there"?  I'm sure I neglected to add people on there, but I hope I've given everyone enough of a list to start from, and win you league!

GOOD LUCK!!!

“I have been playing fantasy football for 4 years and before I never made the playoffs with other service I had, but with you guys I was high point total last year and won it all and this year high point again. I owe it all too you guys” Kevin first year member

“I have been a member for the past 2 years. Last year I placed 3rd and this year...well I am the 2009 League Champ! I do have to say though, the best thing I got out of FFS was the weekly Fantasy Alerts sent directly to my email. I had a few guys compliment me on my waiver wire pickups. Another said, "You only won because of FFS."” Josh second year member

“Thank You FFS.com you were awesome I was high point total 2 years in a row and won it all I cant thank you enough see you next year” Rick 2 year member
