Week 15 was a reminder of how this season has gone for me and my NFL game picks. 9-7 was yet another mediocre and disappointing showing and I am inching precariously closer to that 100 loss mark (something I've never done in the last 10 years). My overall record for the 2010 season stands at 133-91.

It's very depressing.

I'm sure it's also very depressing to any who looked to me for advice on the picks this year. All I can say is that I am on average between 165-175 right each year. My annual goal is to top 180 right (something I've done a couple of times) and this year has been the worst I can ever remember. 2 weeks left, and I can only be wrong on a total of 8 games or I will hit 100 misses. Need to average 12-4 the last 2 weeks and after the way this season has been, that sounds like a pretty tall order. Here are my week 16 NFL game predictions:

Pittsburgh 31, Carolina 10
Dallas 34, Arizona 24
Baltimore 27, Cleveland 17
Miami 21, Detroit 16
New England 35, Buffalo 17
Chicago 20, NY Jets 17
St. Louis 23, San Francisco 17
Kansas City 24, Tennessee 21
Jacksonville 26, Washington 19
Houston 31, Denver 21
Indianapolis 34, Oakland 27
San Diego 17, Cincinnati 14
Green Bay 23, NY Giants 20
Tampa Bay 28, Seattle 17
Philadelphia 31, Minnesota 13
New Orleans 27, Atlanta 24

In my Survivor Pool lock for week 15 I hit on Oakland over Denver. That makes me 12-3 on these picks and like with my total NFL game picks this year: it's very disappointing and depressing. Two weeks left to go so here's hoping I finish up strong. In addition to the Raiders, I have already used up my ability to choose the Falcons, Chargers, Browns, Jets, Buccaneers, Patriots, Cowboys, Chiefs, Steelers, Colts, Saints, Ravens, Packers, or Titans. This week is easy. Far too easy with me still having the Eagles to choose against a reeling Minnesota team. My Survivor Pool lock for week 16 is the Philadelphia Eagles over the Minnesota Vikings.

Yeah Nic, same here. I got in on this chase too late, but will look at full participation next season.

Maybe FFS can implement a picking system on the side for everyone to pick NFL games?  Doesn't have to be for prizes, just for pride.  hint, hint...

I did pretty well last year versus the spread, but that is a whole different monster.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
