Too little; too late. To salvage my season that is.

A second consecutive week of going 11-5 is good, but I needed more of them earlier in the season to be anywhere near what I consider to be even a semi-successful season of picking games. It's nice to go 11-5, but I'm still precariously close to having 100 losses for the season. As it stands thru 14 weeks, I'm a pitiful 124-84 for the season. With 3 weeks left to go to get more picks wrong, I have already surpassed my entire amount of incorrect picks from each of the last 2 seasons. But at least after 2 decent weeks I am hopeful for a strong finish to the season. Here are my week 15 NFL game picks:

San Diego 27, San Francisco 16
Arizona 23, Carolina 17
Miami 20, Buffalo 17
Cincinnati 21, Cleveland 20
Tampa Bay 28, Detroit 14
Houston 24, Tennessee 20
Indianapolis 34, Jacksonville 27
St. Louis 26, Kansas City 24
New Orleans 28, Baltimore 24
Philadelphia 29, NY Giants 27
Dallas 27, Washington 20
Atlanta 24, Seattle 17
Oakland 30, Denver 20
Pittsburgh 21, NY Jets 17
New England 27, Green Bay 17
Chicago 17, Minnesota 10

In the Survivor Pool lock for last week I hit on Atlanta over Carolina so I sit at a disappointing 11-3 on those for 2010. In addition to the Falcons, I have used up my ability to choose from the Chargers, Browns, Jets, Buccaneers, Patriots, Cowboys, Chiefs, Steelers, Colts, Saints, Ravens, Packers, or Titans. Therefore I am going to go against my philosophy of not taking division rivalry games this week. I thought about Arizona over Carolina, but I know the Cardinals too well to gamble on them on the road travelling to the east coast. So instead I'll take a team that has been surprisingly good against a team that looked like they were throwing in the towel for their season the last couple of games. My Survivor Pool Lock for week 15 is the Oakland Raiders over the Denver Broncos.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
