PPR, bonus for 100yd games and long TDs

I give: DMC and Colston

I get: Lynch and Nicks

What you say? How worried should I be about NIcks foot? Is this extended rest going to get him all the way back?

Am I giving up on DMC too soon? Zone blocking scheme, terrible team playing from behind and abandoning the run, Carson not able to throw the ball down the field to a depleted WR core causing defense to stack the box?

Lynch does play the 49ers my super bowl week... ouch.

The fact that Nicks foot is still an issue after the entire off season scares me. I am not a huge fan of Colston at all but at least he is on the field even if he is the third option after Sproles and Jimmy G. I personally would not do the trade.

I think Lynch is a beast along with Hicks. They were cautious with Hicks this weeks because it was a fast turn around. He likely would have played if they played sunday. Colston is also dinged up. Do the deal.

Thanks guys. I have consulted quite a few rank lists and gotten real live feedback. Overall people seem about 50-50 on the deal.

Feel about this trade like a lot of others, it doesn't make your team better, it just makes your team look different. Usually trades of rb/wr for rb/wr when players are fairly equal doesn't really improve either team.

I guess my motivation was I am worried about DMC ever really getting it going this year. Also I think Colston is also dealing with a foot injury and has less upside than Nicks. Thanks for the input

It is your team and if you have those worries and concerns, you make the decision on the trade. Just keep in mind that Lynch has a back issue that flairs up unexpectedly, too. In fact last year, he wasn't on any injury list and was a game time scratch, which cost a lot of teams down the stretch.

Totally agree. I really try hard to make all my own decisions. I first try to collect as much info as possible. I do like to look at statistics and solicit others opinions to see if they have thought of something I havent, have a different take, etc Once I have all my data, I really try hard to make up my own mind. Thanks for your input.

DMC is the Raiders right now and a majority of the offense will go through him. He plays in the weak AFC West and even if OAK cannot get anything started on the groudn, he will factor in the passing game. Carson doesn't need to get the ball downfield, but just a swing pass out of the backfield.

I never like trading for an injured player and Nicks foot might indeed end up being a year long problem. Not sure I will buy what the media of HC is saying of his foot. Look at Gates the last few years, the foot hampered him all year long. Not sure I want to see that out of Nicks if I traded for him. I would keep Colston and DMC and let the deal fall by the wayside.

I countered with TRich and Colston for Lynch and Nicks and he rejected it.

Thanks for everyone's input.
